Beacon¶

Beacon is an application used to configure Control Objects. It connects to a Control Objects server and retrieves configuration templates, which describe what kind of parameters are available for a given Control Object.

The templates are written in XML, with the format being described here: configuration template.

Here is a screenshot of Beacon editing the configuration file for a Shutter control object.

There is a video used for a presentation available Beacon_demo.avi.

To view the Video, we recommend VLC. On a Windows and Mac it sort of work automatically.
On a Linux you might have to save it first.
