mxCuBE on beamlines

  • 6 end-stations (ID14-1, ID14-4, ID23-1, ID23-2, ID29, BM14)
    • runs latest stable mxCuBE
    • maintenance only since January, 2013
    • mxCuBE 2.0 is installed (currently in beta-test)
  • MASSIF under construction (ID30, 3 end-stations)

    • will have mxCuBE 2.0 since the beginning
  • Remote Access is a standard BL operation mode

    • NoMachine NX client + Remote Access facility in mxCuBE

  • Java software running on a Windows PC
    • latest version by A. Gobbo (EMBL Grenoble)
  • Communication with mxCuBE via EMBL Exporter
    • Tango version still available for old MD2 software
  • Minikappa

  • Prosilica GigE camera

  • Motors operated through Taco servers (old ESRF standard)
    • move to new ICEPAP controllers is foreseen
  • spec macros to encapsulate functioning (e.g oscillation)

  • Lima Tango device server
    • runs on the same computer as camserver
  • still operated through spec macros

  • Same story as with Pilatus
    • switch to Lima Tango server is foreseen
    • spec macros are still in use
